This rare pin has been made by Faberge head workmaster Vaino August Hollming-the son of August Hollming. The pin has been awarded the Imperial Russian officer Colonel Nikolay Mikhailovich Lebetkyn. The pin comes from his family estate. Colonel Lebetkyn emigrated to Bulgaria after the Revolution c 1917 and continued his military carier in the Bulgarian Royal Army.
The pin is signed with the Imperial Russian Kokoshnik 56 gold hallmark with leter Alfa for St. Petersburg assay office, and AH initials hallmark for Vaino Hollming who continued to use his father's hallmark AH. Scratched with Faberge's inventory number. Original luxury birchwood presentation box signed in Russian Faberge, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Odessa Very rare and highly collectible.
