Late 19th Century RUSSIAN Solid Silver Top & Handle Cut Glass Claret Jug MOSCOW. The glass is in very good condition with very few inner marks if any, it is well cut with star cut to the base, there are scratches to the base as to be expected as this is a good quality jug and is heavy. The silver top is well hinged, with a good handle, there is some tarnish. The silver top appears a little loose from the glass but does not move much at all, however it needs fixing as it causes a slight dribble when used for pouring.

I think the the silver top has come very slightly loose from the glass due to the weight. Overall condition is very good. Measurements approximately height 28cm (11). Diameter of the base 11.5cm (4.1/3).
