Antique Top Quality Solid Silver Russian Silver With Gilded Interior. Free From Monograms or Personal Engravings. Very Good Antique Condition (Does have some pin dits on the lid). Solid Silver Weight : 57 Grams.

Excellent clear hallmarks on the lid flange fitting and base of the case. The hinged lid opens and closes perfectly with a strong 3 segment hinge which is very precise in operation. I tried to photograph the hallmark on the flange lid fitting, however as it's curved and very small, it wasn't a good image.

The Interior and underside of the Lid has a wonderful coverage of gilding, remarkable for its age. This case will come with its own black presentation box and a quality velvet drawstring pouch to protect this beautiful piece when used or stored. Diameter : 6.7 cm or 2.6 inch. Width including hinge & clasp : 7.0 cm or 2.75 inch. Thickness : 1.0 cm or 0.4inch.

Very Good antique condition, no nasty dents or scratches, does have some very small pin dints to the lid, all commensurate with age, although very minor. Gilded interior is wonderful, hinge is perfect without any play and will hold in the chosen position of the lid, beautifully polished, overall a fabulous and beautiful rare piece of Russian silver.

I have tried to take photos of the pin dints on the lid at an angle which reflects the pin dint images. Apologies for the reflections and shadows in the photos, this case is beautifully polished and reflects like a mirror.
