This beautiful Antique Russian Icon is titled St. This Antique Russian Icon was painted in the 19th century, the artist used Egg tempera on wood. A veryfine Russian icon of Saint Mitrophana circa: 1847. Mitrophan shows nicely embroidered dress - cassock of first bishop of the Voronezh and Miracle Worker. The Icon executed on a shaped wood panel in Silver forged oklad.

Is 8.5" x 6.75". It is a gorgeous piece and has been preserved very well.
