Extremely Rare Victorian Edwardian 1900 Imperial Russian Hollow Silver Cat Pendant Charm?? Unmarked, but I have a very similar gold cat in my store, similar design technique and time frame thus the dedication. Weighs approximately 1.1 grams. Approximately 1.54 cm (9.5/16 of an inch) in height from top ear tips to furthest foot, and approximately 1.12 cm (6.5/16 of an inch) from attachment loop, not bale, to left paw, and approximately 6.3 mm (4/16 of an inch) from right knee to left knee at thickest area. I left some of the original tarnish since it protects the gold plating underneath which is the main evidence of age. It is hollow cast silver which is a much more difficult process of crafting than solid a solid cast piece, requires much higher skills in silversmithing. And because it is hollow cast the chance that others have survived are slim close to none, which most likely makes this silver cat charm a one of a kind. Do you love cats and history as much as I do?
