Very fine quality Russian 84 silver cup, having the body slightly swelling towards the tucked-in base, moulded and beaded rim and pedestal foot, the squared scroll handle with ribbed leading edge, finely engraved with a spray of blossom. Perhaps from the workshop of August Wilhelm Holmström of St Petersburg. August Holmström died in 1903 and his workshop continued under his son, using the same mark.

Both were famous and important workmasters for Faberge. In very good conditions with a couple of minor surface scratches, noticeable only upon closer inspection. The conditions description is a statement of opinion only, for these reasons, please look carefully at each photo.
