Antique Russian Pre Revolution Imperial Hallmark Brass Hand Rolled Hammered Vase

This planter/vase is a true historical item. It is marked on the bottom, from a time before the Russian Revolution in the early 1900's. This brass collectible was hand crafted and has seen more years than any of us.

There are definitive flaws to this piece, there are indents that are large in comparison to the hammered portions, indicating that it has been dropped and wasn't properly stored before arriving in my care. There are discolorations to the metal from time and exposure to water and air, the inside clearly notes a moisture presence from when it was used as a planter. There is a crack in the brass on the side near a large dent, I've pictured all the flaws for you to view.

Regardless of its current condition, for those who collect these specific items it is a novelty from a time period long ago - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
