Russian porcelain dish from the Service of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, period of Nicholas I. Decorated with a finely painted cartouches enclosing fruits and flowers on alternating blue & magenta grounds. The reverse without blue underglaze mark only smal number of painter. Lightly to moderate rubbed gold. All painting in very good condition.
There is a very old restoration. Overall very good antique condition of significantly rare example of the dish from the service that almost impossible to find even in in any Russian museums.
