A Russian porcelain dinner plate from the Order of St. Of circular form, with scalloped rim, the cavetto painted with the star of the Order, inscribed with the motto, "For Labour and Fatherland"?? In Cyrillic, the border with the sash and badge transfer printed with the sash and badge of the order within gilded rim. The reverse with green stamped factory mark and Winter Palace inventory marks. (Office of the Marshall of the Court Administration); these marks can be found on the reverse of many porcelain items used in the Winter Palace.
