Antique Imperial Russian Tsar Nicholas II Coronation 1896 Cup of Sorrow Khodynka. For sale is this authentic enamel cup made on the occasion of the coronation of Emperor Nikolai II of Russia and his wife Empress Alexandra Feodorovna in 1896.
The cup is known as the "cup of sorrow" because of the Khodynka tragedy which happened on the day of the coronation. The item is with traces of use, the enamel is missing at places - please look at the pictures carefully.
