ANTIQUE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SILVER PLATED SAMOVAR C1830. About 17" high and 14" handle to handle Original plating is mostly intact but for some high spots on the applied acanthus leaf handles and applied Lotus foot decorations Hand wrought, seams and hammer marks visible on close inspection Has two small dents on one edge and a ding on another, each accessible from the inside and easily removed Has the original insert original lead weighting under the base No monograms or removals The spigot has a good repair at the center of the pipe as seen circled in red in the photos The repair was made with cold solder but is clean and well done The spigot handle is tight, the spigot functions properly This holds water and does not leak The lotus decoration on the feet is rather unusual Unmarked, I have looked throughly.
