Antique Imperial Russian Silver Filigree Novelty Shoe Vesta Case. Possibly Tartu / Dorpat City Mark, Makers mark AX, Circa 1860. Beautiful filigree decoration, embellished with bow, engraving and niello detail. Presented in good pre-loved and used antique condition. There is a small hole to the filigree below the bow (photo 15).

The end of the lid has a small bend at the heel of the shoe as shown in photographs 6 & 13. Length: 8.5cm (3.3/8).
