Antique Imperial Russian Heavy Brass Samovar 34 Table Lamp Dated 1870 SUPERB

This is an antique Russian solid brass samovar, that has been expertly converted to an electric table lamp. It is dated 1870, which for its age makes its near flawless condition that much more impressive, and gives it a perfect patina. The date, as shown in the picture, is stamped Orig Made 1870 which I imagine is probably the equivalent of a patent date, so I assume it was made sometime in the late 1800s, perhaps as early as 1870, but the exact year of manufacture is not known.

It is a quite large at approximately 34 tall, 14.5 wide from handle to handle, 15 deep from the spout back, and weighs just over 14 pounds, which serves as evidence that it is top quality in all respects. There are no dents, dings, or scratches, with the only flaws arguably being what appears to be little water spots in a couple places, which arent significant in my opinion, and are nothing more than minor inconsistencies in the patina. Please view pictures closely and carefully, as they represent a large part of my description. The spigot turns freely, and although it appears that it could quite easily be converted back to a samovar, Im not familiar with them enough to be certain of that.
