ANTIQUE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GARDNER PORCELAIN FIGURE FIGURINE VERBILKI 19TH CENTURY. Modelled as a man driving a pick into the ice, with a barrel (kadochka) and kovsh on a sledge, with impressed and red factory marks, inventory No 118 in red. There is a small chip on the sledge and another on the bucket but it does not affect the appearance of power and energy in the focus of the piece - the Russian Muzhik. Height 29.2cm, 11 1/2 in.
