Antique Imperial Russian Cabinet Photo Empress Alexandra Feodorovna by Pasetti

Description: An antique Russian cabinet photo card of a portrait of Imperial Russian Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. The cabinet photograph depicting the Tsarina at a young age wearing an elegant, formal outfit; the signature of A. Pasetti inscribed into the card to the right of the portrait. Pasetti was an Italian-born photographer officially sanctioned by the Russian Imperial court.

He produced many official cabinet photographs as well as other images out of his atelier located at 24 Nevsky Prospect in St. Size: 4 1/4 x 6 5/16 inches (10.8 x 16 cm). Condition: Card in overall fine shape for age; mild staining across the slightly rough-cut top edge. Back side has some signs of adhesive or tape removal.
