A superb Russian Imperial egg replica brooch pin, Royal blue enamel, diamante

A superb reproduction antique Russian Imperial egg pendant bar brooch or pin. Both the bar and the body of the egg pendant have been covered with Royal blue enamel.

The egg then has four bands of tiny diamante or cubic zirconia and an amethyst set into the bottom edge of the egg and each end of the bar. The item has a hallmark of "925" so most likely silver gilt (as shown by the rear of the bar). This is a lovely and unusual item, which would make the perfect gift for the right person, someone who appreciates history, and perhaps with an interest in Russia. It is very similar in style to the pieces by renowned jeweller Faberge. It will be sent in a black card box.
