8 Antique Russian Brass Coat Hooks Imperial Double Headed Eagle Design 3.5
8 Russian style coat hooks made from brass metal. They have the Imperial style double-headed eagle design on them with a 5-point crown on top. Openwork design and they have 4 holes for attachment in the crown for putting on a wall or backing wood.
They are good quality cast brass. Very nice for hanging any number of items on. Ideal for the designer furnishers - decorators amongst you to get your thinking caps on.
Would look good in any number of period homes or even a modern setting. No maker's marks etc. No damage to the metal ware from what I can see. Please see pictures for details and visual confirmation of condition. 3 and 1/2 inches x 2 and 1/4 inches with the hook sticking out approx.Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are. In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.
