Hello, up for sale from a private collection is. An antique early 19th century Imperial Russian icon of Mother of God with Jesus Child in Tikhvinskaya iconography. Mixed media painting: egg tempera and gesso on a wood board. Titled in Church Slavonic on the bottom.

Theotokos of Tikhvin is one of the most celebrated Orthodox Christian icons that is said to be one of the icons written by St. Condition: original as is on photos.
