The samovar has been professionally restored and is ready for use. The interior surface of the samovar is covered with food-grade tin (we do not compromise on quality by using cheap and inferior methods), using the galvanization method. Samovars from the Batashev factory were made with high quality, as evidenced by the state emblem depicted on them. The condition of the samovar is luxurious.

It's a rare find for a samovar to have survived in such condition to this day, considering it is over 100 years old. The minimum price of a samovar started at 20 rubles, equivalent to the price of a cow. The cost varied based on weight and the number of medals. It's a great rarity for a samovar to have survived in such good condition over 100 years. The samovar has remained in good condition due to its thickness and robustness.

The true "samovar kings" in Tula before the revolution were considered to be the Batashev brothers, Vasily and Alexander Stepanovich. The famous Batashev factory was founded by the small samovar shop established in 1840 by gunsmith Stepan Fedotovich Batashev in the suburb of Tula, Chulkovo Sloboda. Stepan Fedotovich had 11 children. Not all of them survived to adulthood; five died in childhood. However, supporting such a large family required considerable effort. The business expanded, and from being a gunsmith, Stepan Batashev rose to the merchant class.

However, in 1861, a tragedy occurred: the house and factory burned down in a large fire. The factory was uninsured, and the prospect of imminent ruin struck Stepan Fedotovich hard. The burden of rebuilding the factory from the ashes fell on the shoulders of his young heirs: Vasily Stepanovich was only 19 years old, and Alexander was just 13. In a few years, the Batashev brothers turned their factory into a successful and thriving production facility. By 1870, they had received a silver medal at the All-Russian Manufacture Exhibition for samovars and production organization.

Other products, such as trays and rinsers, also received awards. Hope to deal with you!
