Antique Russian Tole Tray with Custom made wood Table Painted in Black. Made for Russian Imperial Royalty in The Town of Tagil.

Tray is decorated with surrealistic painting. Around the painting, inside the oval border, there is a coded inscription in Russian Cyrillic.

Outside the oval border, there is another inscription in Russian Cyrillic! The translation in English states, Wonderful man in the world! 1, January 1857 issue of Russkaya Beseda and came out as a separate edition later that year. Absolutely phenomenal, extremely rare, and one of a kind museum item. Tray is in good original condition. Size 24 3/4" x 33 1/2".
