Antique Russian Imperial Era Porcelain Kovsh Bowl

GUARANTEED TO BE GENUINE ANTIQUE AND OF THE PERIOD STATED. By the Kornilov brothers factory in St. Petersburg circa 1885 A similar Kornilov porcelain kovsh is illustrated in DINING WITH THE CZARS, page 151. This early Kornilov kovsh is decorated with a molded double headed eagle and stylized Russian ornaments. The shape is of 16th -17th centuries Russian Tsars' presentation silver kovshes.
